How To Begin: About

A fanlisting is a list of fans for a particular subject. You can join a fanlisting for a subject you are a fan of by adding your name to the list of that subject. The only requirement to join a fanlisting is your name, your country, and your e-mail address.

The creator of fanlistings is the awesome Janine, who first created The Fanlistings Network in the year 2000. Since then, there have been many fanlistings listed and created and new networks have sprung up, such as The Physical Fanlistings Network and The Namelistings.

Fanlisting Networks are places where you can apply for a subject in order to run the fanlisting for that subject. If you are approved, you can build a fanlisting which is usually a small webpage that includes a main page with statistics, a joining form, and a page with the list of fans. Often included in these small webpages are buttons (or codes) that members can use to link back with, an update form in case a member's information changes, and perhaps even an about or extras page where there is information on the subject of the fanlisting.

This is a Disney-centered fanlistings network, and so our goal here is to link to Disney-related fanlistings because, well, we love Disney! And Disney has such a large and detailed history, with so many characters, movies, and other topics that we feel that it deserves its own network.

If you feel that you would be interested in joining any of the Disney-related fanlistings listed here, do please browse the list and join the listings for the subjects you are a fan of. There is no limit to the number of listings you can join! And if you are interested in perhaps building a fanlisting related to a Disney subject, then you can check if that listing is not approved yet and if it isn't, feel free to apply! You can check the guidelines to see what is required in order to apply and what rules you should follow with your listing when creating it.
